Rout Milner Fitchett’s Property Law Centre reflects John Fitchett’s belief that every home buyer should have legal services at an affordable price. Property Law Centre offers competitive prices and a relaxed atmosphere to clients wishing to buy or sell residential properties and sections or to refinance mortgage borrowing. Transactions worth over $500,000 are subject to a surcharge of $200.00 plus GST.
At Property Law Centre we give you a fixed Quote for our fees and an estimate of Government charges before we start. If your transaction does not complete we will not charge you a fee, we recover only disbursements (e.g. search fees) paid on your behalf.
Once we have quoted a fee, the “meter is not running”, so you are free to talk to us at any stage of the transaction without the fear of escalating legal fees. However, we reserve the right, should unexpected complications arise in your dealing, to charge further fees. We will always let you know in such a circumstance.
As part of our service we will prepare new Wills for you at no extra charge, as we believe it is important for every homeowner to have an up-to-date Will.
You do not need an appointment to see us but if your time is short it pays to telephone ahead. For those who are unable to keep appointments during working hours, we also offer an after hours service, by appointment, at no extra charge.
